Single Barrel Bourbon – check out the bottle! It is not weak.  This was given to us as a gift from a Kentucky native.  It is good having friends from Kentucky.

Tasting was done on the rocks.

Jason This is a full-bodied bourbon and is not light on the palette.  The alcohol level for me warrants adding a little splash of water.  Due note that this tasting was only with ice.  It is complex and I had trouble wading through the alcohol – but once you do this you will find many flavors to explore.  Check it out.
Tripp It is 100 proof people!  A very different taste – more fruit and sweetness than wood and earth. Incredibly smooth for a 100 proof bourbon. This bourbon has the coolest of all the bottles; even rivaling Willets. The sweetness and flavors can be enhanced with a splash of water and the overall taste is very palatable. I wonder if I would have liked it as much…without the cool bottle? It might just be the single best gift bourbon of them all.
