Booker’s – The Bourbon Guide

Booker’s – 7 year old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Jim Beam makes this bourbon which is made straight from the barrel and is totally uncut – if you couldn’t tell at 127 proof. Holy cow! Use this to start fires if you are desperate…. might be a great camping bourbon for that reason. A little goes a long way.

Batch number C03-I-16

63.7% (127.4 proof)

Tasting on the rocks with a generous splash of water.  Sometimes bourbon tasting requires adding branch water to bring out the bourbon’s natural flavors especially at such a high alcohol content. Manly men might think differently, but we have nothing to prove!

$60 VA abc for 750ml

Jason I like the smell and the tingle produced by its aftertaste but I must be honest and admit that I don't like required to add water.  As I taste and rate this bourbon, I am being constantly reminded that drinking and updating a website don't go hand in hand.  Drink Booker's to drink bourbon not while you must concentrate.
Tripp A little Virginia branch water can turn jet fuel into a drinkable delicious bourbon.  If you add enough water the burn is diluted and the sweet flavor is able to shine.  Because of the dilution one bottle of Booker's might last you a lifetime.
