Berkshire Bourbon – The Bourbon Guide

Berkshire Bourbon – hand crafted and triple pot distilled in virgin American white oak barrels.  They say there are hints of toffee and spice. From Berkshire Mountain Distillers, Sheffield, MA – there first legal distillery since prohibition.

(86 proof).

Received as a gift – sorry no price – for 750ml. Tasting was done on the rocks as our usual way.

Jason This was received as a gift.  If my initials were BMD it would be even better as they are on the bottle. My first sips went down well but then my head swelled and I had a slight nauseous feeling.  So this is a C for me – passing but not that good either. I struggle to even comment on the flavors…
Tripp Yikes! Not a pleasant taste to be found in this bourbon.  Massachusetts needs to stick to beer and crabs.
